A Game of Change

Speckles meets the transformation sorcerous

added by Krentol 12 days ago A TG O Bovine

“Oh my, your backside is an absolute mess! Your friend must have been quite pent up!”

The sultry, feminine voice had come from behind Speckles, and doing her best to crane her head around to see behind her, Speckles saw a young woman dressed in a black witch outfit standing on the entrance cliff – and staring directly at Speckles’ dripping backside.

Speckles wasn’t sure if cows could blush, but her cheeks certainly felt warm enough with embarrassment as the mysterious woman continued, “Can you understand me?”

“Yes,” Speckles said with a deep, humiliated low.

“Oh, so I’m assuming you increased your intelligence stat, smart choice! Occasionally I get one of you trespassers who leaves that as a 1. All they’re good for is sending to the farm, but you might have some potential.”

The woman looked the bull over, then continued, “not that falling into that spring is a good way to bring out one’s potential. In fact, it has a way of reducing it down to a rather subsidence level, but still, you might be an interesting toy. It looks like you went with the Dam, which is an interesting choice. Not many of the unfortunates that pass through here are foolish enough to pick a class centered around… well, getting fucked and giving birth. Did you pick Big Bertha or Double or Nothing?”

The woman was talking to Speckles so casually that it actually furthered her humiliation. Clearly, the woman didn’t think that Speckles had made a good choice, but there wasn’t the slightest hint of pity or charity in the woman’s voice. Not knowing what else to do, Speckles replied matter of factly, “Big Bertha.”

“Ohh, mmmm. Poor choice. That womb of yours is going to get quite the workout, and I you’re going to find out what the word ‘stretch’ really means. But at level one, you don’t necessarily need to worry about that yet. Still, you might be able to find some happiness in the knowledge that you set yourself up to be quite good at combat, or at least compared to a more typical cow.”

The woman started chuckling under her breath as Speckles turned to face her.

“Are you the transformation sorceress?”

“Why yes Miss Cow, I most certainly am. Rayne Polyzap at your acquaintance. Not that I make a habit of making the acquaintance of farm animals.”

Speckles looked up at the sorcerous, trying to think of something she could say to improve her situation, but her mind just drew a blank. As if by instinct, she stomped her hoofs and said, “please turn me back.”

“No can do Miss Cow. Not that I would turn you back if I could, but that spring contains very powerful magic. A dispel spell, even a powerful one, would only restore you to your true form, which, as far as the universe is concerned, is the form you’re currently in. You see, that spring overwrote your life. Whatever you were before is gone, forever. What you are now, and what you have always been, is a Cow Dam.”

“But…” Speckles stuttered, “couldn’t you use a… a…”

Speckles tried searching for the word. She knew there were spells that turned things into other things, but the word for it just didn’t come to mind.

“A polymorph spell?” the sorcerous asked. “I could, technically, but those don’t typically alter reality. I could get into the details but I’m sure you’d find it far too complicated to understand. Suffice to say unless I used a reality warping spell on you, the effects of any polymorph spell would be extremely temporary.”

“Then do that!” Speckles lowed out as loudly as she could.

“Do you have any idea how much the reagents for that would cost? Actually, never mind, that’s a question that is as stupid as you now are – of course you can’t, not anymore. In any event, that’s why I recommend people who fall into that spring take Milker or, if they’re foolish enough to go Dam, Double or Nothing. Those can be good money makers and, after a few years, they can usually afford to buy the reagents and pay my very generous fee.”

Speckles head hung down. Was this really it? Was she really stuck as a breeding cow for the next how ever many years? It couldn’t be, she wouldn’t accept this. Speckles raised her head and…
