In spite of what Damon presumed, he slept incredibly well, considering that it was a simple hard-packed floor, of hard earth, dry leaves, dead strands of grass and little sticks. But it was a rather large cave, and very dry at that. There was a stream near his new abode so hydrating himself would not be an overbearing issue. Damon grunted as the rays of the sun hit him, just as the great ball of fire in the sky was starting his journey across the sky. It promised to be a bright sunny day. He thought ruefully that if the cave was facing east like that, he would have to consider putting some curtains of some sort. But the former young man doubted he could buy any curtains nearby. And with that money? He had none whatsoever. He yawned widely, showing off his sharp teeth to the world and stepped further outside. He stretched his big wings with an evident relief. A bit blinded by the sunbeams hitting him, he turned sharply when he heard a familiar voice calling out to him. It was the sorceress. Circe. Damon was glad to see her. She would help him get his bearings a bit more.
"So, Damon? Enjoying your new life?" the sorceress said pleasantly.
"Yes, thank you," said Damon, surprised a little that he could still form coherent speech.
"Do you require anything?" she asked.
"Well, yeah, a bit," he admitted.
Just then, his stomach gave an enormous rumble. circe smiled. At least, she saw that one problem was obvious.
"As a new dragon, what would you require to get started?" she asked.
Damon thought briefly before giving his answer.
