"Dad, this doesn't make sense at all! Add is adding age 'to the machine'?"
"Yeah, like a battery has a charge. You seem to understand just fine."
"Dad! Age is a concept... That makes as much sense as... as... storing someone's morality, kindness, or... or ability to drive stick shift... in a battery. Age is a biologic process, your machine has to be working off of biology somehow, right? If I had said remove 10 instead of add, and nobody added 10 before me... what would it have done?"
"It would have failed, obviously. It would have had nothing to give you, but to be honest I have given it about 3 or 4 years for testing purposes so you may have made it to 20 or so."
"Oh my god, DAD! So you're telling me, those are 'MY' 10 years? Not just 10 years of aging but 4 years of growing and 6 years of puberty?"
"Yeah, I'm not understanding why you're getting worked up."
"This doesn't make sense! If you had a second machine and some guy your age put a total of 15 years in, and I took their 15 years out... I'd currently be 21 but to my body, I'd have grown to 6, and then have been 28-43. Would I be skipping puberty all together and remain this tall? Would I be graying and balding if he was... or would it be if I would at that age? Do experiences go with the age? Wait, is my age mixing with your age?"
