"Shh, be slow," a gentle voice said. Ladybug groaned loudly. She opened her eyes. One of the mares from the farm was standing over her protectively. "Get to your feet, but slowly."
Ladybug did as she was told. The mare walked around her, looking at her.
"You are doing remarkably well for someone who just delivered triplets," the mare remarked. Ladybug's head was swimming.
"How- you-" she stammered.
"Oh, let me explain. My name is Citrine. Before I joined this herd, I was a Horse Witch. Being a Horse Witch, I am immune to being claimed, even through impregnation."
That was reassuring to Ladybug, given that she had barely any magic to cast a protective charm with. And the alpha was already eyeing her.
"Here, allow me to cast some healing spells upon you. I suspect the alpha will soon wish to have his way with you. And there is not much I can do to stop him."
"Why you stay?" Ladybug neighed, trying to act like a regular dumb mare. She sighed happily as she felt her body healing.
"The other mares I am with, I must supervise and protect. They are truly humans as well."
"I see," Ladybug murmured. Citrine nuzzled her again.
"Let me know if you need anything. Your body is still weak."
Citrine walked off. Ladybug was glad for this information. It would make things easier for her. In many ways.
But before she could think about how to use this to her advantage, she felt the alpha on her back. She gasped as the alpha plunged within her, eager to finally make her carry his foal.
The alpha wasn't even off Ladybug before she could tell he had succeeded.
