The moment Andrew finished speaking he was instantly enclosed in a familiar black void. Dark empty space surrounding him from all directions.
In front of him stood Tide, arms crossed and looking angry.
“Hey, what’s happening?” Andrew asked Tide.
Tide threw his hands up in the air in exasperation. “How should I know?”
Andrew then felt himself floating before rapidly speeding into Tide’s direction. The two could only watch in surprise as Andrew came closer and closer to Tide until he reached Tide’s body.
However, instead of some big impact, nothing happened. At least nothing extreme. Instead, Andrew began to dissolve into Tide’s body and it was only when he had fully been absorbed into Tide that Andrew passed out.

“Tide, something super weird is going on. It seems we swapped places.”
“Really? That’s awesome!”
“What!?” Andrew exclaimed incredulously.
“I mean, I was kind of worried I was going to be trapped as a voice in my own head forever. At least now I can do stuff on my own again.”
Tide then began to walk forward slowly, adjusting to begin autonomous again.
Andrew, meanwhile, could do nothing but watch and feel, Tide having all the control now.
“I never knew how powerless it felt to be like this,” Andrew thought to himself, suddenly realizing how Tide must have been feeling this entire time.
Tide walked over to the small table in the corner of his bedroom and picked up the hand mirror his dad had gifted him, fully ready to see himself once again. However…
