As you get closer to the front, you see that the movie monsters aren't mere cutouts or statues. Rather, they seem to be animatronic, moving in a slow and repetitive motion.
One of the boys ahead of you in line gets out, making faces and mugging with the robots to the delight of his friends. One of them has a digital camera, and the boy plays to it, posing with the robots, and slapping them, making it look like he's fighting. But then...
"Oww!" said the boy, "I cut my hand on the stupid werewolf's mouth when I slapped it!" He holds his hand up, and you can see a gash where the apparent wound was, but almost instantly healed up, before your very eyes. "What the fuck?" he asked.
Brown fur began to blossom across the back of his hand, and the boy disappeared back into the line, obstructing your view of him once more. Ahead of you the line surged momentarily as others seemed to want to get a better look at the boy. Strange sounds came ahead of you, sounds of a popping, stretching nature.
Then another voice came, this one from the boy with the camera, "Ow! What the fuck, man? You fucking bit me! Oh, oh holy shit! You...you're a ..." Another set of popping and stretching noises came ahead, with the first set ending in a howl.
You look up and notice the werewolf animatronic monster is no longer moving, rather it seems to be staring at the disturbance. A second werewolf appears to be standing in line, and then a third pops up next to it, tossing a digital camera to the ground. Each of them grab someone from the line, biting them fiercely, tossing them to the ground, and their victims begin to change. The line begins to surge away from the new werewolves, though a few people remain, seeming to want to be bitten.
