"Hello everyone, and welcome to the last episode of Animalia Ambassadoria for 2024." said Malice as the latest episode began. "Not only are we going to be looking back at this year, but we'll be also looking at a few new plans for the future."
---
"Because of an 'oops conversion'," Polly began, using the new term when someone other than the intended recipient gets converted into an Animalian, "there's a new Animalia Colony in Alaska on the drawing board. While originally simply a Horizon office, due to Alaska's size and population density (roughly 1.1 people per square mile), it has been adapted to do an 'Ice age'-themed colony up there. However, it's still in the earliest stages of planning, so don't expect any news from there anytime soon."

"One usual New Year resolution made is to get into better shape," said Malice, after a commercial break, "but this is one of those things that has all kinds of mixed results." This statement was followed by some notorious clips from the internet of either workout fails, strange workouts, or both. "While the Animalia Virus might make losing weight and building muscle easier, it doesn't always help." A new set of clips followed showing newly converted/uplifted Animalians having trouble with their newfound strength, whether accidentally breaking things, lifting weights with unexpected ease (though these were usually human-sized weights), or being awkward in their new bodies. Undoubtedly, some of the best clips were from Ao Guang Island's Winter Weight Watcher's party, especially since some of them were accompanied were accompanied by Japan's unique style of commentary.
"Another new feature of Ao Guang Island is the Silent Grove, a traditional hot spring inn on the northern tip of the island." said Malice after the clip ended. "The reason why it's called that is because nothing electronic works among the giant bamboo stalks." This, understandably, caused a number of conspiracy theorists to begin theorizing why this was, though these were the usual annoying ones, from concealed government facilities, to even 'aliens'. This last one would prompt Professor Nova to schedule a visit in the spring. "Because of this, it was decided to use the grove as a kind of 'refuge' from technology and social media, since stupid tourists have been, for lack of a better term, 'ruining' things for everyone else."

"Of course, we wouldn't leave you without Lexia's special coverage of New Patagonia." said Polly, after another commercial break. "We'll include the link in the description for her special coverage of the colony but be aware that some of the Dinotopian species found there are giants even by dinosaur standards, so don't be alarmed by the size of some of the things there."

"What's probably two of the most anticipated events in 2025 is the upcoming Year of the Wood/Green Snake Competition," said Malice, as the episode drew to a close, "as well as the 2025 International Animalia Convention. Check the website for information on both events. For now, we're wrapping up the episode so some of us can get to work on the party food for New Year. Until next time, see you all later in the Wilds of Animalia.
