Steve changes "Frank is" to "anthropomorphic animal"

added by Krentol 3 months ago A BM O Anthro

Steve selected the words “Frank is”. Changing that would be the safest option since changing anything else might cause ‘Frank’ to wake up, and the last thing Steve wanted to do was to get into a fight with a drug addict. So, what to change it to?

The ultimate goal was for Steve to turn into an anthro, so why not start there? Steve wasn’t picky about the animal he would turn into and, in fact, was kind of interested in trying a few out, so it made sense to see how the app dealt with ambiguity.

Steve changed the word “Frank is” to “anthropomorphic animal” and watched as the sentence changed. Just as the app had advertised, it corrected the syntax to “The anthropomorphic animal has passed out on the floor after overdosing.”

Steve sat back and watched as the addict’s body began to grow slightly smaller and thinner, though the man’s overall height stayed the same as his ears began to grow and shift towards the top of his head, rapidly becoming a pair of furless rabbit ears. They didn’t stay furless for long as a coat of short grey hairs grew out over the man’s body.

The changes finished up as a hole appeared just above the butt in the man’s pants, with a small tail popping out to fill the space, followed by the man’s mouth pushing out into a muzzle.

It had taken a total of about 30 seconds from start to finish, but where a human had been passed on the ground there was now a more fragile looking, but still very much male anthropomorphic rabbit. The test thankfully confirmed a few things in Steve’s mind.
The first of which was that the app had understood Steve’s intentions and hadn’t monkey pawed the man into something bizarre, changed his gender, or anything else.

The second was that syntax words, such as “is” could be changed to get a sort of bonus word as a way of working around the app’s limitations, as the app would re-add the necessary syntax back into the sentence.

The third was that the man’s clothes had adjusted to his body, so even though the app wasn’t altering history it was at least altering reality in some minimal way to prevent, say, the man’s new tail from being crushed by his underpants.

The final thing it confirmed was that the app had limited its changes to just the man – Steve had been a bit concerned that by changing the man, the app would also alter Steve to “fit in” with the changed man, but it hadn’t. That left just one more question.

Steve bent over and rustled through the man’s pants until he found a wallet. Opening it up, he looked at the man’s driver’s license, which showed the name “Frank Jensen” with a picture that vaguely looked like the man had when he was still human. The driver’s license was both interesting and informative. While the man’s clothes had changed to fit his body, his ID hadn’t. It seemed that whatever reality altering ability the app had was quite limited.

“Ding.” Steve looked down at the app to see a popup stating that the 60 second cooldown period had elapsed.
