Laura thought for a moment, considering her options. "I want everyone to be like me," she said finally, looking up at the wizard with a determined expression. "I don't want to be the only one who has to deal with...this." She gestured to her soiled clothes, her face flushing with embarrassment.
The wizard's expression turned sympathetic, but he shook his head. "I'm afraid that's not possible, Laura. I can only change the reality of those who are directly affected by my magic. I couldn't possibly change the entire world to accommodate your... unique situation. But," he added, "I can offer you a compromise. I can make someone you know...someone close to you...just like you."
Laura's eyes lit up with hope. "Really?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
The wizard nodded. "Yes, really. Who would you like it to be?"
Laura didn't hesitate. "Kaitlyn," she said, a sly smile spreading across her face. "My best friend Kaitlyn. She's always been so perfect, so put together. I'd love to see her in diapers, just like me."
The wizard raised an eyebrow, but he said nothing. Instead, he waved his wand in a circular motion, muttering a few words under his breath.
There was a bright flash of light, and Laura felt herself being lifted off the ground. When the light faded, she found herself standing in her own living room. But it wasn't the same living room she remembered. The furniture was still there, but it was all babyish and childish. There were toys scattered everywhere, and a baby bottle sat on the coffee table. And there was a noticeable smell of baby powder in the air.
