Dennis smiles, “thanks,” he says, reaching over to the pile of Jeff’s clothing lying on the bench, taking Jeff’s phone out of the jean’s pocket, “what’s the code to unlock it,” he then asks.
“2009, my birth year,” Jeff says, “I can trust you to keep it to yourself,” he then adds in a serious tone.
“Of course,” Dennis says, unlocking the phone and opening the app, beginning to read the manual, “I’m the most trustworthy person alive,” he adds.
Jeff snorts, “I guess I have to take your word for it,” he says, not sounding to convinced.
Dennis chuckles, “okay, maybe that was a little… exaggerated,” he says, “but seriously: you CAN trust me!”
Jeff smiles and nods, “so, tell me a little about yourself,” he then says.
“What would you like to know,” Dennis asks, not looking up as he continues reading the manual, “man… this all sounds so crazy,” he mumbles.
“Well, where do you live? Are you from around here? Do you have siblings? What do you enjoy, except horse riding and races, do you have other hobbies?”
“I live on a large farm just outside of town,” Dennis says, “I’ve got two younger brothers, they are twins and both 13 years old. Besides horse riding and racing, I enjoy my free time playing video games such as Fortnite, Dungeons and Dragons, Doom, Call of Duty, stuff like that”.
“Must be pretty frustrating, having 13-year-old twin brothers,” Jeff says, “I have a 12-year-old brother, and he alone is constantly getting on my nerves with his stupid pranks and is just plain annoying”.
Dennis nods, “yeah, they can be little devils,” he says, then chuckles, “but weren’t we all little devils and demons in that age?”
“I guess,” Jeff says, “still… I never was THAT… evil!”
Dennis chuckles, “whatever you say, Jeff,” he says, “man… this app even is able to transform people into objects and even… food! This shit is crazy scary!”
Jeff nods his head, “yeah, in the wrong hands… who knows what chaos it could cause,” he says, “by the way, I love playing video games myself, my favorites are Doom, Call of Duty, I also enjoy playing virtual novels”.
“Cool,” Dennis says, still reading the manual, “you seem like a cool guy, would you like to hang out once you’re back to normal?”
Jeff nods, “I’d love to, Dennis,” he says, “you seem like a cool dude yourself!”
Dennis chuckles, “I try,” he says, finally he looks up at Jeff, “would you mind if I’d copy the app over onto my phone? I could have some fun with it… like transforming my brothers into something! I promise not to do anything evil!”
Jeff tilts his head, “I goes it won’t be any harm,” he says, “just don’t copy my file over, even though I trust you, I’d feel less nervous”.
Dennis nods, “alright,” he says, taking out his own phone and activates the Bluetooth on both devices. As the teen begins the copying of the app, he is asked if he’d wish to also copy any scanned files, Dennis hesitates for a second, ‘yeah I promised, but I’d scan him anyway, this would just save time. Jeff doesn’t have to know, I have a few fun things in mind,’ he thinks to himself, so he confirms the copying of all scanned files, which include, Jeff’s and Jeff’s brother Henry. Dennis is then asked if he’d like his copy to be linked with the original, or if it should be it’s very own and independent app, Dennis decides to want an independent app, ‘that would cause Jeff to never notice when I mess with him and/or his brother,’ he thinks to himself. After the copying is completed, Dennis puts Jeff’s phone back into Jeff’s jeans and smiles up at the “horse”, “thanks, Jeff,” he says.
“No problem, Dennis,” Jeff replies.
“So, when will you be transforming back?”
“Should happen any minute,” Jeff replies.
