The next day everything felt normal. Jennifer woke up on top of the same looking bed. Blanket, pillow and everything around her were as they supposed to be. It was a good sign. Before Jennifer had time to inspect the changes she felt something hanging from her chest. Jennifer noticed the two visible soup bowl sized cups making outward dents under her t-shirt. Jennifer lifted the t-shirt’s collar and saw that her breast size had doubled since yesterday. They were now so big that her new size blocked her view to her waist and her upper thighs. Jennifer had to shift them around to see her flat stomach and the new changes on her hip’s width.
Jennifer had no idea if these changes were a good or a bad sign as she couldn't imagine having breasts this big. Without proper measuring with the tape their size felt beyond regular D-cups. As Jennifer was done checking her biggest changes she turned her head to face the room. It had also changed.
The room looked more suited for an older teen or a young adult. Jennifer couldn’t hold her joy as she jumped out of her bed and saw how everything looked so normal. She was feeling happy. Jennifer’s room looked like as if she had finally achieved her sophomore years. Jennifer couldn’t contain her happiness as she made power poses one after another and gave herself a moment to celebrate the change.
In her room she noticed a full body mirror. She could properly see how much she had grown up. She approached the mirror and saw that there were some noticeable changes on her. Not in her height but in her volume. Jennifer’s new slim hourglass figure looked beautiful as her chest, waist and hip ratio was looking perfect. Even for a nerd she could pass as ‘the popular one’ at her school with a little bit of make-up. Jennifer was bit bummed out that her upper part of the hourglass was significantly weightier than her lower part. Hips looked nice but her breasts overshadowed them. It was like comparing a size between grapefruit and apple. Jennifer looked at her stomach and saw that it was flat. She had no abs or any type of muscle in her body. If she did have them they weren’t showing themselves in the mirror.
Jennifer looked any other changes in herself and almost forgot the most visible one. She was still an anthropomorphic raccoon with a tail. Jennifer’s mind had completely accept her new life and didn’t find it abnormal that people around her were half-animal half-human people. It felt weird how quickly she had accepted that as a fact. She really had to think what others changes she had in her body as she saw nothing wrong with her. Jennifer was four feet eleven inches tall as she has always been.
“Wait a minute. Oh? I can walk with my paws now.” Jennifer whispered out loud in her room.
She had completely forgotten how hard it felt yesterday to walk with them. Now Jennifer had no difficulties using her paws like any other person. She was now able to move without constantly thinking and could bend forwards and backwards without losing her balance. It felt liberating that she was able to move normally. Which reminded Jennifer that she might need her claws pedicured and manicured as they looked too overgrown. She had no idea how the animal-folk would treat them as she knew how difficult it was to cut Tex’s nails.
“Tex?” Jennifer questioned herself.
It was like a slip of the tongue. Jennifer had weird memories inside her head which conflicted with her world view. Non-anthropomorphic German Shepherd that she used to take care of. He was treated by her like a normal pet but it didn’t make any sense. The memory of Tex felt innocent at first but the more she thought about it the more weird it became.
Jennifer decided to move on from that silly thought and see what was happening downstairs as it seemed that it was early hours in the morning. She opened her room’s door and looked outside to see a hall. Everything looked normal so far as if nothing had changed. Another good sign. Jennifer could hear her mom snoring. The muffled low rumbling noise was coming behind the second bedroom door which belonged to her mother. The master bedroom’s door was across the same floor hall on the opposite side which was on the left side of from where she stood. Between their doors was the staircase and opposite to it there was a small bathroom. Jennifer had to go downstairs to check if everything was looking as normal as it did yesterday.
As Jennifer descended to the first floor. The kitchen, the living room and the small guest room looked as they did yesterday. Her mom never closed the guest room’s door as it was never used properly. It was treated as a quiet reading room. The guest room had a small bed, an old TV, and similar other small commodities for someone who had to stay over. Next she had to check the bathroom on the first floor. It was spacious and had room for a lot of personal hygiene products. The washer looked modern and there were some clothes hanging on top of a rack next to the washer. The toilet and the sink looked clean. The small space for shower looked clean as well as the only dirt was the patches of hair that was on top of the drain. Jennifer tiptoed away from the bathroom back to the second floor to check the other bathroom. It only had a toilet and a sink with little trinkets and things that she had bought to decorate it more colorful. Her mother would occasionally use it as well as it was the closest one to her bedroom. But Jennifer was mainly the one who used it all the time.
Jennifer went back inside her own room and closed the door quietly behind her. Everything was looking as normal as it can be. Jennifer’s previous day was so busy that she had no time to check the changes around the house. She had roughly an hour left to think and inspect her own room properly. If there was anything she had forgotten or a thing she had to ask from her mom.
Today was going to be first day of ‘that day’. She didn’t question it at first but her mother talked about how the thing lasted for a week but in online it said it was going to be three month period. Which one of them were lying to her. Then again it was a public website that anybody could modify and she gave more trust to her mother’s word. Why would her mother ever lie to her. The website had to have incorrect information for how long it lasted or maybe it was correct information but in a different context. Which made Jennifer rethink what her mother meant by a week. Jennifer really didn’t want to bother her mother more than it was necessary. Asking too many questions might come as rude behavior. But Jennifer had to know more as she couldn’t skip the school for three months.
