Some time had passed after the dinner time. Jennifer had begun to watch TV in her room until her mother came to tell her that she had contacted Jennifer's birth father and invited him to come over for the night.
“You mean he's coming right now?” Jennifer asked from her mother.
“Yes, he will be *COUGH* here *COUGH COUGH* very soon” Her mother replied back as she begun to cough violently.
“Mom?”
“Don’t worry sweety. *COUGH COUGH COUGH* Everything’s *COUGH COUGH WHEEZE COUGH*”
Her mother’s coughing noises got worse as the old lady collapsed in front of her daughter. Jennifer went in full panic mode as her mother’s face started to look blue and her mother kept coughing constantly on the floor. At the same time there was someone at their front door. Jennifer rushed to the front door to meet a man in his mid thirties and told him that her mother just suddenly collapsed on the floor.
“Erika!” The man shouted and with Jennifer’s aid they went to help Jennifer’s mother. Sadly they were both too late and Jennifer’s mother had passed away. The paramedics picked up Jennifer's mother in hours after they have called them. Jennifer and the man sat on the living room couch watching TV. The man claimed to be her father and introduced him as William McDonald. Jennifer was devastated by her sudden loss of her mother. Not able to process any new information. Jennifer sat next to William as they said nothing to each other.
