Excitedly, Jeff ran to put his furry buffed arms up around on his Mom as he wanted to greet her. "Jeff," she said, sternly. "Let go..."
"Sweetie," she said to his sister. "Why don't you go up to your room and play with Jeff for a bit, while Sally and I put away the groceries away?"
"I guess, it's ok..." She looked up to him, and started to hold his fingers while carefully not getting scratched by his claws. "C'mon, Jeff.... let's go up to my room..." she cooed at him.
Jeff purred enthusiastically...he was going up the stairs and into a room... now he can... Wait, what room was the machine in again?
Sally finished bringing in several loads of the groceries. "Here's the last of the bags. Where's Jeff at?" She asked, looking around.
"I didn't want him to get into the groceries, and your sister wanted to go play with him while we were gone. so I sent him up to go play in your sister's room." Jeff's mother said.
"Oh, ok." Sally said. "Also, Did you notice anything strange about him today?"
"No, not that I know of." she frowned. "Why? Is he sick? Does he need a vet? He better not have clawed up the sofa and on the couch!"
"No....just, you know how Jeff is..." she said.
"Yes, I know he can be a bit of a handful...but he behaves...generally."
