As Lisa looked to the stopwatch, she was stuck with a decision.
A small part of her wanted to use the watch again after knowing it is real. But after that traumatic experience she had getting regressed all the way to nothing followed by her family tree, she cannot take the risk of a repeat on either herself or anyone else. Tightening the watch, she said, "You know what. I know that the stopwatch is real. I don't have to go through all of that again. I'll only use it when I feel like it's right. Still, I got to hide it. Can't let anyone get their hands on it, unless they have the same fate I had moments ago."
Looking around, Lisa decided to hide it under her bed, the better place to hide it. Getting down on the floor, she outreach her arm and stretched under the bed, leaving the watch in the middle of it. Seeing it in a good enough spot, she smiled and said, "There... That should do it. No way anyone would find that watch under my bed."
Standing up, she stretched and was glad that she made the right choice. "Got to say, I feel much better now. After that hell I experienced, I sure as hell don't want to live through that all over again. Hopefully, this time, I would be more responsible for that stopwatch when I feel ready to use it."
As soon as she got that out of her system, she heard her mother calling her to come down.
"Lisa! Jason! Amy! Come down! Breakfast is ready!"
Lisa heard her mother and was glad that she's back as well. Really makes her wonder what her side of the family tree was life. Rubbing her chin, she gave it a bit of thought. But she immediately brushed it off and decided to come down.
"Coming mom!"
And so she turned and left her room, heading down to breakfast with her family. Meanwhile, the stopwatch remained under her bed and waited for when she will return to use it.
