Jeff thinks for a while, he then smiles, “you know, I really do love the idea of us inviting some friends,” he says, “so, why don’t each of us invite four of our closest friends, we’d be ten people!”
Zoey’s eyes widen, she then grins wide, “YEAH! With so many of us, it’ll be so much fun,” she says, “and I know just who I’d like to invite over”.
Jeff smiles, “alright, so why don’t we call the guys we want to invite and once they are all here, I’ll once again explain everything and we’ll also discuss some rules, okay?”
“Yup, I’ll be right back,” Zoey says, skipping out of the room and into hers to text her friends, Zoey is one of the youngest who owns her own phone.
Around two hours later, Zoey’s and Jeff’s friends arrive, everyone, especially the young kids look at Jeff and Zoey in confusion.
Zoey’s friends are:
Max (7)
Jane (6)
Lucy (5)
Arthur (6)
Jeff’s friends are:
Will (15)
Linda (17)
Henry (16)
Beatrix (18)
“So,” Will says, “will you finally tell us why you called all of us here?”
Jeff nods, he then explains everything to the group, while the young children’s expression show eagerness and excitement, Jeff’s friends look more disbelieved, “really, Jeff,” Linda scoffs, “you really think we believe that BS? Magic sh… stuff is not real!”
Jeff and Zoey look at each other, both grinning, “watch this,” Jeff says, turning to his laptop and beginning to type, “watch my hair,” he says as he turns back around.
Watching the faces of his friends change from disbelief to shock and surprise, causes Jeff to laugh, “well, convinced,” he asks, grinning.
“Um… yeah,” they all say.
“Blue hair really does NOT suit you though,” Linda says.
Jeff chuckles, reverting his hair back to it’s natural black, “so, this is what I was thinking,” he then says, “all of us get a turn with the program, either transforming him- or herself, or transforming someone else, either with the person knowing, having him or her guess, or surprising him or her. Everything goes, however, there is ONE rule all of us need to follow: HANDS OFF of messing with anyone’s mind! So NO mind alterations!”
Everyone nods in agreement, “yeah, I really don’t want anyone messing with my head,” Will says.
“I think ALL of us wouldn’t want that to happen,” Beatrix says, which results everyone, even the children, to nod.
“So, with that settled,” Jeff says, “who’d like to go first? Or are there any questions?”
“Yeah,” Max says, raising a hand, “when one of us transforms someone, does it have to be full transformations, or can we transform someone partial? You know, for example, I want to give myself fox ears and a tail, but still look like now”.
“Partial transformations are okay,” Jeff says, “anything else?”
“How long would a transformed person stay in his or her state,” Will asks.
“I was thinking, since it’s Friday, that we’d spend the weekend in whatever form we transform into,” Jeff says, “you can all stay here, since our parents won’t be back until late Sunday evening”.
Everyone beams, “it’s gonna be one hell of a fun weekend,” they all say.
“However, we should ask our parents first, especially the kids,” Linda says.
“Yeah, you totally should do that,” Zoey says, “I really hope you all will be able to stay”.
A few minutes later, after everyone had called their family and everyone being allowed to stay until Sunday, the group sit in Jeff’s room, the atmosphere seeming to tingle with excitement.
“So, with that settled,” Jeff says, “who wants to go first?”
“Why don’t you go first, Jeff,” Will suggests, “after all, it’s your program”.
“Sure,” he says, “let me think”.
