Jeff looked up at his mom, still feeling a bit nervous, but her gentle tone put him at ease. "I-I just wanted a break, mom," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "Being a teenager can be really stressful, and I just wanted to experience being a kid again, without any worries or responsibilities."
His mother smiled warmly and gave his shoulder a gentle squeeze. "It's okay, sweetie. I understand. You're right, being a teenager can be tough. And it's not every day that someone gets to experience being a toddler again!"
She stood up and gestured to the booster seat. "Now, why don't you go ahead and eat your dinner while I go check on something?"
Jeff nodded and climbed up into the booster seat, feeling a bit relieved that his mom wasn't mad at him. He began to eat his dinner, savoring the taste of the spaghetti and meatballs.
A few minutes later, his mother returned to the kitchen. But something was different. Jeff's eyes widened in surprise as he took in his mother's new appearance. She was no longer an adult, but a 3-year-old toddler, dressed in a cute yellow dress.
"Mommy?" Jeff asked, unsure of what to make of the situation. His mother giggled and climbed up into the chair across from him. "I had curiosity, Jeffy! I wanted to see what it was like to be a toddler again". Jeff's eyes were still wide with surprise, but he couldn't help but laugh at his mother's antics.
