There are so many possibilities, but first, I wish to meet you in the flesh. To do so, I will need to pierce the barriers dividing our worlds. There are plenty of tantalising methods to choose from, but which would be the best I wonder…”
The mysterious entity then stopped to consider its options, knowing that it would require a suitable body within which to explore the human world.
The demon’s immediate thought was that it could take over the body of either Anvil, Brimstone or Oblivion, and perhaps make a few modifications in the process. Doing so would instantly consume the soul of the human inside, which was a shame, but such a sacrifice was definitely worth it if it led to greater influence and power.
Alternatively, the entity could find another lost soul to prey upon, just like it had done to Jason earlier. After just a quick search, it located a number of suitable options in the local area. The creature now had the power to inhabit one of these isolated individuals and craft their flesh into an elegant demonic form. The only slight risk was that a strong-willed individual would be able to halt or even reverse the process, so the target would have to be selected carefully.
