"Well first," Jake started, putting her hands behind her and pushing her silky hair forward "I have to do something about this hair. I wonder how it would look in a ponytail?"
Jake's parents just looked at each other.
Jake's mother rubbed her eyes. His father just shook his head.
"We can go to my place and do that. I have clothes you can wear. I'd say you can even try some of my perfume but you're a skunk so you have your own already," Terra said.
"Terra, don't encourage him ... her I ... arg!" their mother said.
Man, what's wrong with me? I should be freaking out. Why do I feel so good? Why does this feel so good? Why do I suddenly like the idea of letting Terra bush my hair.
"Hey Jake, you there?" Terra said.
Shaking her head, Jake tried to resist the new emotions and sensations flowing into her. Becoming this skunkette had done more then just change her body. Jake wished it didn't feel so darned good. Then, perhaps it'd be resist easier for her to resist it.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I ... I think I want to try this out for a while. I know it's screwed up but it feels kinda good."
"Jake, listen to yourself. You're saying that you're okay with being a female skunk," Jake's father asked.
"Well ... yeah. For now anyway," Jake said.
"Just how long does for now mean? A week, a month a year?" Jake's father asked.
"Hey come on now," Jake said, now folding her arms. "it's not like I can just walk into my room and say that I want to be male again and poof, I'm my old self."
"Have you tried it?" Jake's mother asked.
"Well no," Jake answered.
"Then I think you should try it young lady," his mother said. Covering her mother, Jake's mother shook her head before removing her hand. "Before I start getting used to think of you as a female."
Nodding her head, Jake unfolded her arms and walked upstairs. As she walked, she felt a sort of an anticipation. If this did work, she'd be her old self again. Maybe she could take herself more seriously in her normal body but then she'd lose out on discovering what being female meant. Man, I want to be able to get away with going into women's change rooms, exercising at women's gyms and getting to see a naked woman just but taking my clothes off.
Walking into her room, Jake looked around and sighed. "I want to be my old male self again."
After several seconds nothing had happened. A full two minutes had passed before Jake realized that nothing was going to happen. Mild disappointment hit her. However excitement over discovering a new form and being able to get away with things she never could as a male easily overrode the disappointment.
"I'm still a female skunk. It looks like I'm going to be one for a while. No sense calling me Jake anymore. From this day forward, as long as I am a skunkette, I shall be known as Jackie!"
Jackie closed her door and removed her shirt. Looking at herself in the mirror, she giggled. "Hi Jackie. You're cute!"
