Without a word, Rita comes over to the tub. She turns the shower off and lifts Leah up, then easily removes her swollen diaper. Leah babbles something incoherently, trying to explain away what just happened as Rita wipes her down with baby wipes. Then, she sits on the lid of the toilet, places a thick towel over her lap, and puts Leah on her lap, face down, butt up.
Leah realizes what is about to happen seconds before it does. She lets out a cry of shock and pain as Rita spanks her bare butt.
"You can talk, use your words!" Rita scolds. She spanks Leah again. "You might need extra help in some ways, but you're still a teenager. Communicate!" She spanks Leah a third time. "I expected you to be more responsible. Let me know when you need help!"
"I had it handled!" Leah cries. "I didn't need any help!"
"That's clearly not the case."
"I'm not a baby!" Leah sobs. Rita spanks her again.
"I know! Which is why you need to behave better! Ask for help, don't make a mess in the bathroom!" The fifth spank reveals why Rita placed a towel over her lap. Leah gasps as the impact jolts her bladder, making it empty. "You have to own up to things. Stop denying and lying."

"You need a bath," Rita says patiently. "I'm going to bathe you." She frowns at Leah. "Whether you like it or not."
"I don't need help..."
"Yes, you do. Only a baby would deny needing help. A big girl would be open about her abilities. You have to decide whether you'll be a big girl or a baby."
Leah's lip quivered. She felt like sobbing again, so she shoved her thumb in her mouth to suck on. As she sucked on her thumb, she thought about what Rita had said. She had to make a choice.
