"Hmm... you know what, I'd actually like to have a party. Not a big one, though, just one with close friends." Dan looked at her with his beedy eyes. He knew that he was going to be the life of this party, and he didn't like it one bit.
***[Later]***
"Kat, sweetie, have you seen Daniel?" Kat and Dan's parents walked into the house at around 7 pm.
"He's not here, he's gone to his friends house." Kat came down the stairs.
"Now Katherine, you haven't done what you promised me you wouldn't do, have you?"
"Of course not, mom, I'd never do anything to Dan, he's my little bro."
"Okay then..." She didn't believe Kat for one second, but she knew that Kat would never do anything to HURT him, but wouldn't hesitate to embarrass or torment him. She decided to leave that investigation for later.
"How has today been? I mean, with your new powers", her mom asked.
"Great, I'll probably give up work and live as a witch from now on. Oh, by the way... could I invite a few friends over?"
"Sure, as long as you make sure they're trustworthy enough to keep your secret a..er... secret, I suppose."
Kat picked up the phone. She rung around a few of her female friends, and they arranged to come over ASAP. Meanwhile, Dan sat in her bedroom, awaiting his fate...
