A teenage girl walked in, talking on her phone.
"And I was like, just talk normally to me! Like, why do you need to talk so weird!"
Leah hurried out of the bathroom, hoping she somehow escaped before anything could happen to her. She took a deep breath.
"Hi, I'm Weah," she lisped. Nervous, she tried a few more phrases, but nothing came out normally. She groaned. Great. Until this one wore off, she was stuck talking like a toddler! And until then, she definitely wasn't going to find Tina. As it was, she was going to struggle to explain herself. But now talking like this? It would be impossible!
Leah took out her phone and began to walk away from the bathrooms, texting Tina. She lied that she started feeling sick and had to go home. Tina texted back to just relax and try to feel better. Leah felt a bit bad, but she didn't have any other choice.
She was so focused on her phone that she didn't watch where she was going, and walked right into someone.
"Whoa! Hey there, squirt," said the man whose legs she just walked into. Obediently, Leah peed her training pants. The man raised an eyebrow looking at her. "You've got a smartphone at your age? I swear, they get younger and younger every year. I feel like I'm gonna start seeing kids in diapers on phones." He patted Leah's head. "Go find your parents, kiddo."
The man walked away. Leah froze. The man just said a lot of things. She had no idea what thing would trigger some sort of command in her. She just had to wait for it to take effect.
