Leah looked around, confused, at the brightly colored and decorated walls.
"Uh, where are we?" she asked. Verona giggled cutely.
"Silly, this is the high school preschool! Teachers take their kids here, and some teen moms do, too. The students studying childcare, like me, come and help out." Verona smiled at Leah. "And it's where you belong."
"What?" Leah tried to turn around, but Verona had grabbed her hand and wouldn't let go. "Verona, I'm a teenager!"
"You're a toddler playing at being one," Verona said patiently. "That was obvious enough when I saw your potty face."
"I'm just incontinent!"
"I don't think you are." Verona smiled at Leah. "Don't worry, my friend Amber is working right now, and she'll take great care of you."
Amber? Amber Lockheed? Leah's bully?!
The second Verona left, Amber appeared. It was indeed Leah's bully. Amber smiled viciously at Leah.
Before she knew what was happening, Leah was undressed, changed, redressed in a baby onesie, given a pacifier, and placed in a playpen. Leah sat in the playpen, sucking on the pacifier, her head spinning from just how fast everything had happened.
