As Brad explored, he marveled at the intricate details of the world around him. The textures of surfaces that he had once taken for granted now seemed to stretch out before him, inviting exploration. He alighted on a windowpane and gazed out at the world beyond, watching as a cat stalked by, its eyes glinting with malice and hunger. He shuddered, realizing just how vulnerable he truly was.
But there was no time for fear or regret. Brad had some unexpected time to explore, to experience, to learn. He wanted to continue to see how life as a fly might proceed, no matter how daunting the challenges might be. With a final buzz of his wings, he launched into flight once more, ready to face whatever lay ahead in his new existence as a humble housefly.
Someone knocked at his back door. The fact they knocked at the back door and not the front one was strange in itself. He flew to the kitchen, stared through the window inset inside the door and saw his shirtless college student neighbor. Damn! From this perspective, Cole looked so incredibly hot. An expanse of tanned muscle and flesh tickled Brad the housefly into a state of arousal. He figured when no one answered the knock, Cole would leave. Instead, Cole tested the door and found it unlocked. He walked inside, calling out Brad’s name. Of course, Brad had no way to answer and thought it might be best to avoid detection. Perhaps enjoy this stud as a tiny, unseen voyeur but not risk getting noticed.
Ben’s buzzing grew louder, more frantic, as he hovered by the kitchen window, peering out at his shirtless neighbor Cole. From this diminutive perspective, Cole looked like a blond god, a titan of muscle and sinew. The fly’s faceted eyes raked over the expanse of tanned flesh, the rippling abs, the broad, muscular chest. He felt a surge of arousal, a longing to reach out and touch, to explore every inch of that glorious body.
But before he could act on his urges, Cole pushed open the back door, the knob turning with a soft click that sounded like a gunshot in the sudden silence. His heart raced as he hovered, unsure whether to stay or flee.
