The Ointment Store

1.1 Baby Cream – A Surprise for Riley

April stood in front of her apartment door, clutching the small jar of Baby Cream in her hands. The old man at the ointment store had barely spoken when she made her purchase, only giving her a knowing smile as he slid the jar into a silk pouch. Something about the way he looked at her sent a shiver down her spine, but she had shaken it off. This was going to be a fun surprise for Riley.

For days, April had been debating how to approach the fact that she’d discovered her roommate’s secret. The hidden diapers, the bookmarked ABDL websites—it all made sense in hindsight. Riley had never told her, and April could only assume it was out of embarrassment or fear of judgment. But April didn’t judge. In fact, she thought it was… kind of cute.

And now, she had the perfect way to show Riley that she accepted her.

She unlocked the door quietly and stepped inside. The apartment was dimly lit, the flickering glow of the TV casting soft shadows across the living room. There, curled up on the couch beneath a thick blanket, was Riley—fast asleep.

April hesitated. Was this really okay? Was it too much?

She glanced down at the jar in her hands. If Riley didn’t like it, she could turn back anytime. That was what the label had said.

Taking a deep breath, April moved to kneel beside the couch. Riley’s arm was partially exposed, her soft skin illuminated by the light of the screen. Careful not to wake her, April unscrewed the lid. A sweet, powdery scent immediately filled the air—a mix of chamomile, baby powder, and something faintly nostalgic.

With a final glance at Riley’s peaceful face, April dipped her fingers into the cool, velvety ointment and spread a thin layer across Riley’s forearm.

At first, nothing happened.

Then, the change began.

A soft warmth spread from where April had touched her, a faint glow shimmering over Riley’s skin. The transformation was slow—deliberate. Her fingers twitched slightly, shrinking ever so subtly as the skin smoothed out, losing its adult shape. The bones in her wrist adjusted, her entire arm slowly becoming chubbier, the angles of adulthood softening into the delicate roundness of infancy.

April watched in awe as the glow spread up Riley’s arm, reaching her shoulder. Her collarbones faded, her shoulders becoming smaller, more rounded. Her breathing changed, growing lighter, more rhythmic, as her chest compacted ever so slightly.

Then, her face.

April could only stare as Riley’s features gradually softened—her cheekbones rounding out, her nose becoming slightly upturned, her lips plumping with the cherubic fullness of a toddler. Her dark eyelashes fluttered, and for a moment, April thought Riley might wake up. But she only let out a soft sigh, shifting slightly as the glow continued down her body.

Her legs shortened next. April heard the faintest of noises—a soft, almost imperceptible crinkling sound—as Riley’s sweatpants vanished, replaced by a thick, pastel-colored onesie that materialized out of thin air. The footed pajamas snugly wrapped around her now much smaller frame, the zipper pulling itself up as if the outfit had always been there.

April swallowed, torn between fascination and disbelief. This was… incredible.

Riley let out a tiny whimper in her sleep, rolling onto her side. The transformation seemed to be nearing completion, her feet curling slightly as her toes shrank into tiny, baby-sized nubs. The final change came as her hair shortened just a little, light curls forming at the ends, making her look even younger.

Then, silence.

The glow faded.

April’s heart pounded. It worked.

For a moment, Riley remained still, her tiny hand gripping the edge of the blanket. Then, she stirred.

Her small body wiggled slightly, a soft murmur escaping her lips. Slowly, her eyelids fluttered open, revealing bright, wide, curious eyes. At first, she simply blinked, her drowsy mind struggling to process what she was seeing.

Then, she sat up—and froze.

April held her breath.

Riley’s tiny hands shot up to her face, patting her rounded cheeks. Her eyes darted downward, staring at her chubby fingers, her miniature legs, and the thick onesie now wrapped snugly around her. She lifted one foot, wiggling her tiny toes beneath the fabric, her movements growing more frantic as she realized something was very, very different.

Her lips parted, but the words that came out were high-pitched and lispy.

“Wha… wha happen, Apwiw?”

April barely stifled a giggle. Oh my god, her voice!

Riley stared up at her with enormous, confused eyes. “Me wook… wike a widdwe baby!” she gasped, her small hands gripping her cheeks again. “Me—me tiny!”

April smiled, reaching out to ruffle Riley’s now much shorter hair. “Yep,” she said cheerfully. “Surprise!”

Riley’s face went through a range of emotions—shock, confusion, curiosity. And then, to April’s delight, a slow grin spread across her lips.

“Dis… dis so fun!” she squealed, bouncing slightly on the couch. “Me feew so happy!”

April laughed, relieved that Riley wasn’t upset. “I thought you might like it,” she admitted.

Riley giggled, kicking her tiny feet in excitement. But then, all of a sudden, her expression changed. Her movements stilled, her cheeks turning an even deeper shade of pink.

April narrowed her eyes. “What’s wrong?”

Riley squirmed, pressing her hands against her tummy. “U-uh-oh…”

April’s eyes widened as realization struck.

Riley hesitated before whispering, “Me need diapee…”

April burst into laughter, unable to help herself. “Oh my god, Riley!” She wiped at her eyes, still giggling. “Alright, alright. Lucky for you, I already found your stash!”

Riley’s tiny face lit up. “Weawwy?” she asked, bouncing slightly in excitement.

April nodded, standing up. “Let’s get you all set up, little one.”

As she went to grab the supplies, she couldn’t help but marvel at the scene in front of her. Riley, now a tiny, happy baby, kicking her feet on the couch and giggling like this was the best thing that had ever happened to her.
