Alice is still sitting on her towel, thinking that Emma will be gone for a while. She tries to calm down her arousal by focusing on their conversation with Emma and how it would be fun to get to know Mike better. She hopes that Mike will want to experience being a sentient object and that Emma will give him that chance. Alice thinks back to all the amazing experiences she and Jake have had with the Transform-O-Matic, and how much fun they've had together. She feels grateful for their love and for the connection they share. She decides to send him a quick message and a cute animated GIF she found online to let him know how much she loves him, but as she types, a pop-up window appears, warning her about a disrupted Bluetooth connection and potential glitches and that she should therefore re-establish the connection. Alice ignores it and sends the message and the GIF anyway. The fact that she sent her message without re-establishing the connection leads to a bug in the emitter's firmware beginning to affect Jake's mind: Jake slowly begins to forget that he is, or was, a human being. Instead, he increasingly believes that he exists only so that Alice has an object that she can transform at will.
Meanwhile, in the dressing room, Emma puts on the other swimsuit she brought with her, a sexy, high-cut one-piece. She looks at herself in the mirror, adjusting the swimsuit and making sure everything fits properly. She's excited to go back and join Alice and Jake at the pool. Emma takes a few deep breaths, trying to calm herself down. She can't wait to hear more about Alice and Jake's experiences with the Transform-O-Matic and their relationship. And she's also curious to know if Mike will want to try being a sentient object.
