Emma takes a deep breath, considering her options. "I think I will. I'm curious about what he would think of experiencing things like you both do. And maybe he'll surprise me and want to try it." Alice smiles encouragingly. "I think that would be great. And who knows, maybe we could all try something together sometime. A whole group of sentient objects having fun together." Emma grins. "That sounds like a party. I'll definitely keep that in mind. But I also have to be prepared for the fact that Mike wouldn't want to be an inanimate object with a mind." Alice thinks about it for a moment before deciding to ask Jake what he would suggest to Emma to convince Mike. "Do you have any suggestions for what Emma could suggest to Mike if he doesn't want to be an object with a mind, but she would like to be able to talk to the object she transforms him into?" *Oh, I'm not sure. Maybe she could suggest that she transforms him into an object with a mind on its own and makes it so that Mike won't remember anything about the time he was this object later when he is human again?* Alice briefly considers what she thinks of this suggestion, finds it surprisingly pragmatic, and tells Emma what Jake's idea is. Emma nods thoughtfully. "That's actually a good idea. I think Mike might be more open to that. He likes the idea of being an object without a mind, but he also likes the idea of me experiencing pleasure. If he knew that he could still be an object and I could experience pleasure, but he wouldn't remember anything, that might change his mind." Alice smiles, happy that Jake's suggestion might help Emma and Mike. "I'm glad you think that could work. It's always good to find a compromise, especially in a relationship." Emma nods in agreement. "Absolutely. Communication and compromise are key." She looks at her watch again. "Yes, and now, unfortunately, it's time for me to pack up my things and Mike and head home. Would you like to come with me to our spot on the meadow?"
