"Hmm... I wonder what I'd look like if I was a girl..." Dion questioned, looking at the field. "How would I look... how would I sound..? And... what would it be like?"
The pre-teen boy tapped on the gender field, changing 'male' to 'female'. "It's not like I have any reason not to... If I don't like it, I can always revert it!" Dion reasoned, confirming the change. Almost immediately, he felt the same pins-and-needles sensation as before, a sign that the Chronivac was doing its thing.
He felt himself shrink ever-so-slightly. Not a difference that will actually effect him in day-to-day life, but just enough for him to notice the change occur. The Chronivac didn't even update his height, due to how small of a difference it really was. He also felt his hair lengthening out a bit, but all he knew was what he felt resting against his back.
Then he felt a slight change in his chest, but again, it wasn't very noticeable. He lifted his shirt to look, but whatever happened, he couldn't tell. "...Huh? Wha-" He started, before pausing upon realizing the difference in his voice. "Wait... Woah.. My voice is a lot higher than before!" The pre-teen squeaked out.
A sensation in his crotch then caught his attention. A slight pain erupted from it, and Dion pulled his pants out, watching as his penis and sack shrunk and retracted into himself. "Oh, that's weird, why is it..." The now-girl reached a hand down, tracing his hand along it, feeling a strong sensation from the newly-forming slit. "Is that what girls have? Weird..."
The sensation of the Chronivac subsided, and the pain from before faded away, the transformation finishing. Dion put his pants back in place, standing up- Then stumbling a bit as his tail throws his balance off. "Woah! Still gotta get used to the tail..."
After regaining his balance enough to make sure he won't fall standing here, the boy-turned-girl focused his attention back on the gender swap. "Anyway! This... isn't as different as I expected..." Dion whispered. "If it wasn't for my voice, I don't think anyone could tell! And I guess I wouldn't either, though my pants feel a bit looser than before..."
Then he thought for a moment. "Well, I guess since I'm a girl now, I should probably have a girl name... Maybe... Diane? That sounds close enough!" He then giggled quietly to himself. "Now... What should I do first..."
