"I..." Jennifer looks off in guilt as well, just as conflicted. "I don't know. I'm... kinda worried about what they'd think. I mean, if we tell them about Felicity and I's old lives, they might... hate us for who we aren't anymore." She admit, looking back at her ex-sister. "And... if we tell them about us being siblings, before we've fully decided if we want to stay with that or not, it might make things weird if we don't want to go back to that. Especially if..." The girl blushes again. "Especially if we end up going in a different direction, like you said."
Lucy responded with a nod. "That... makes sense..." She replied. "I mean, it's not every day you have to explain something like that... And maybe saying something would cause the same crisis you just went through for Felicity, which we should avoid..."
Jennifer squeezed Lucy's hand for a moment. "Felicity may already know, if she has the same... uh, feelings I had. Though that is a good point, since she... may also not remember, depending on what caused me to start remembering." After a moment, the girl started walking again. "Anyway! I don't want to spend all night focusing on that. Come on!" She sped up a bit, keeping her grip on Lucy's hand, dragging the other girl back to the living room.
The sound of footsteps alerted the other girls to their return. "Oh, welcome back you two!" Natalie exclaimed with a wave, as the other girls said similar. Once the others welcomed them back, Natalie spoke again. "What were you two talking about?" She asked, noticing how the two were holding hands.
Jennifer responded quickly. "Something private. It's a secret." She avoided eye contact when saying that, hoping they wouldn't press further. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted Felicity's questioning stare, different from the rest, and figured she could tell what it was.
Diana raised an eyebrow in response. "A secret?" The girl asked, getting up and running over to her friend. "Come on! Spill the tea, what'd you tell her! I wanna know!"
Lucy put up a hand to stop her. "As she said, it's a secret. Wouldn't be a secret if we told everyone." At Diana's reaction, she added, "And besides, it's a secret for a reason."
Diana crossed her arms, pouting. "Come on...!" She whined, much to the amusement of all the other girls. "At least tell me? Pretty please?"
"I... might tell you later." Jennifer started, giggling slightly at how Diana perked up. "If! You drop it until I'm ready."
With a huff, Diana turned back to rejoin the group. "Fine..." She begrudgingly walked back over to where everyone was sitting, Lucy and Jennifer following close behind. Jennifer caught Felicity's gaze again, but looked away, staying next to Lucy even as they sat back down for the movie.
