"I think we should head back to the others." Jennifer decided. "The pizza should be here soon! So we should probably get ready for that to arrive." She suggested with a smile, reluctantly leaving her position next to Lucy to walk over to the sink. She'd already done it a few minutes ago, but it didn't hurt to be as thorough as possible.
Though, as she saw the sink, she noticed something she missed the first time... A pang of familiarity struck at the sight of the double sink layout, as if designed for two people to wash their hands or brush their teeth at the same time...
"Yeah, that seems like a good idea." Lucy agreed, stepping to the other sink, which only strengthened that feeling of familiarity. The feeling as if they'd done this before, in a past that no longer exists. The faint memory of giving Lucy assistance as the girl hadn't fully mastered brushing her teeth herself.
Shaking her head of her thoughts, Jennifer finished up, drying her hands off. And when Lucy was done, the two girls left the bathroom together, stepping out into the hallway, their faces starting to return to their normal colors. Lucy took Jennifer's hand, running ahead and starting to drag her girlfriend with.
The sound of footsteps alerted the other girls to their return. "Oh, welcome back you two!" Natalie exclaimed with a wave, as the other girls said similar. Once the others welcomed them back, Natalie spoke again. "What were you two talking about?" She asked, noticing how the two were holding hands.
Diana piped up afterward. "And why are you two so red?" She asked, pointing out the lingering traces of their blushing. "Were you two... doing something in there..?"
The latter question prompted both to start blushing more. "I-I, uh- W-we were just-" Lucy started to stammer out, glancing at Jennifer. "T-Talking, yeah! Just talking!"
Diana raised an eyebrow in response. "And what were you talking about?" The girl asked, getting up and running over to her friends. "Come on! Spill the tea, what was it about! I wanna know!"
