Part 1 of the birthday party was simple. Henry and his dad went to drop him off at the "Bounce Kingdom" a place for kids to bounce on trampolines, and bounce house-like structures while doing a few different sports, games, etc. It only allowed in kids due to size/weight issues, but now that everyone was 5-8 the once teens were able to have fun in the rented out bouncy park. Some parents were around watching their kids as kids again. Some of the kids were effectively cross dressing and some of the clothes weren't that well fitting if they were borrowing their siblings' clothes, but none seemed to have switched sexes besides Henry.
Henry had the ChronoSwitch in HER hands, and the ChronoSwitch representative was easy to find. "Umm... Sir?" Henry asked feeling unsure in her body and wondering what the consequences of Sally's transgressions would be.
The Representative in a suit and sunglasses with a camera/mic on them asked "Yes Miss?"
"There was an issue with this ChronoSwitch-" The representative thumbed something on the sunglasses
"Yes? What's the issue?"
"Well... my sister had accidentally used it before me, and then fiddled with one bit of code to make the cooldown a minute. Then when I used it to get younger it switched my sex to female and my other's to male."
The representative held out a hand and said "I'll get this ChronoSwitch to some people to check everything and run a few tests. For the sake of more data, how long was the actual period between the device being used?"
"Umm... Probably a few minutes, maybe 5 or 10?"
The representative thumbed his glasses again and said "Alright, We'll see what we can do. I can guarantee we can revert whatever age changes happened, but... other changes are a bit tricky, especially since we haven't been developing this for more than age. We'll do what we can though." The representative put the ChronoSwitch in a pocket and then started making a few phone calls. That hard part for Henry was done. Now time to see how hard it would be to hide her sex swap, or how everyone'd react to it.
Henriette was wearing some of his dad's clothes... He hoped he wouldn't have to wear them for much longer, but who knows and he did have regrets about getting those years if his sex was the price he had to pay. He met up with his boyfriend Jerry and they were chilling after putting a comedy series on. "I'm guessing your probably not bi?" Henriette asked
"Not really, I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this really." Jerry said "and this is temporary thanks to a weird tech startup?"
"I hope it's temporary, the device was about changing ages not sexes so. I hope the change is reproducible."
"Calm down, boyfriend and girlfriend or just buds it's not like any relationship between us it just going to end." Jerry said as he gave Henriette a small slug on the shoulder.
Sally was on her laptop while wearing some of her sister's tighter clothes which somewhat worked on her body. She had a discord group with her friend's she was going to meet up with so she typed out "Going to have to cancel, mom doesn't want me to join after an issue with a ChronoSwap. Currently 16" then she posted a selfie of her older form.
"Get out of here with that A.I. art" came one friend
"Nah, it's probably Henriette with a few filters" another said
"Actually the ChronoSwap is probably real. Happened with me and my sister." a third friend said
"Pics or it didn't happen" The first friend said and after a minute or so, and it took a second for a selfie to appear of a somewhat scrawny teen guy with a bit of stubble on his chin who was wearing an oversized shirt for his frame.
"Your pulling our leg" The second friend said
Sally posted "Nope, maybe some weekend we could go out to the movies ourselves... actually maybe we can still have the get together happen." Sally may have been in some trouble but the real punishment was being in this body... maybe if she convinced her mom the others had also aged up-"
