At the sudden reveal, it took Felicity a lot to not give herself away with a surprised "What?!" Both hands were covering her mouth, her eyes wide as she tried to process that. "J-Jennifer was... Lucy's older brother? And... Sh-She... or... he...? Turned into a girl to... sneak into the sleepover... a-at my suggestion..?" She went over it all internally, trying to make sure she didn't expose her presence.
The thought was just as surprising as it was confusing. She didn't remember such a thing, and that didn't sound anything like her at all... and yet, for some reason, some small part of her thought that was right. And from what Jennifer was saying, she didn't fully remember the events either, which only confused her more. "Did someone wipe our memories..? That's... the only thing that makes sense.."
Jennifer spoke again, fear evident in her voice, but Felicity only partially heard it. "And, it's kind of scary to think about it."
"Scary?" Lucy asked. "How so?"
"Well... When it wears off, what's going to happen to me?" Jennifer questioned. "Am I... Am I just going to cease to exist? Or.. Or will I remain stuck as part of some boy, like how 'Jeff' is part of me right now?" The name 'Jeff' sounded eerily familiar to Felicity, and despite having no memory of it, the prior reveal lead to her piecing together that this 'Jeff' boy was Lucy's brother. But the next part only amplified her own fears. "And... If I stay like this, do I even have a life to go back to? Or was all of that a lie from the Chronivac, too...?"
Felicity couldn't help but gasp at the thought. The former fear was something Felicity thought of before, but the latter wasn't, and that was just as scary. Going back home, only to learn that it didn't exist, and everything was a lie... She almost wondered if that was worse than just not existing anymore.
Lucy's voice pulled her out of her thoughts. "That... is scary to think about..." The girl replied, her own tone uneasy. "I don't know what I'd do if the thought of just... not existing anymore was a real possibility..." There was a momentary pause. "And it's really creepy, too. Not the existence part, but what Jeff and Alan did, transforming into girls to crash our sleepover..."
