Joy rolled the dice and watched her piece move before stopping on red. She drew a card.
“What's better than to love and be beloved? To be behooved.”
“Huh?” Diane taised an eyebrow.
“I dunno, that's what it says.” Joy replied as she put the card back.
“I think ith pwetty obfiouth.” Sue chuckled.
“What do you-” Joy paused as her hands caught her eyes. Her fingernails had turned black and her palms were starting to lengthen. As her hands stretched out her wrists became thick and knobbly. Her fingers merged together into solitary digits and her blackened nails spread out over them.
“Oh, dear!” Joy blushed.
“Zebra I think, actually.” Cyndi corrected.
The girls watched as fine white hairs appeared up Joy’s forearms, followed by telltale black stripes. Before long Joy's hands had turned completely into a pair of zebra hooves.
“Well, this could be a problem.” Joy looked at her hands, clacking them together.
“I think they're cute.” Jerri winked.
Joy blushed. “Okay, who's next?”
Without waiting, Sue grabbed the dice and rolled.
