Transform or Dare?

When your friends with bullies, you get bullied.

Jennifer walked down the aisle to her friend, her body changing once again as she felt herself shrink back down to being a teenager. She couldn't see herself fully, but looking down she noticed her clothes turn into a slightly wrinkled plain white button shirt with a mid thigh skirt. Her shoes turned from heels into sneakers with black socks reach to her ankles. Jennifer felt a tug on her back as a heavy schoolbag appeared as well.

Jennifer waved to her friend, Emma. "Hey Emma." Jennifer immediately recoiled ag her voice, it had a heavy lisp and was decently high pitched. Jennifer ran her tongue over teeth. Braces. Jennifer blinked as a pair of glasses sat on her face.

Emma looked up at Jennifer. "Oh good you're here. Sit." she ordered coldly. A rock formed in Jennifer's stomach as she felt infinitesimal against Emma. Jennifer's body instantly obeyed as she sat down next to Emma. Jennifer felt confused, she'd never felt like that before, so weak and submissive to just capitulate to someone she was friends with. "S-sorry Emma." Jennifer stuttered out. Damn it, she couldn't even talk straight to Emma Jennifer thought.

Emma rolled her eyes, grabbing her bag and pulling out a packet of papers. "Here's my homework for the week, I want it done by tonight."

Jennifer's heart sank, though her body didn't feel the same way, eagerly grabbing the papers from Emma's hands. "Of course, a-anything for you." Jennifer said meekly. Jennifer understood now. Oh my god, Emma's perfect girl isn't a friend, it's the perfect nerd to extort. Jennifer wanted to leave, but her body wouldn't let it. Jennifer wanted desperately to ask her friend why she didn't notice Jennifer had changed, but she could only talk when spoken too, and it was never what she wanted, just yes ma'ams and platitudes. The curse had to be affecting them, it was the same with her dad, he never noticed, but maybe people just assume I'm their perfect girl all along, an alter to their perception or something? Jennifer shuddered, the line of thinking was getting her nowhere.

The bus stopped in front of the highschool, the other students lining off the bus as Jennifer was forced to trail behind Emma. Jennifer felt scared and cold without being next to her, she hated how she felt like a lost puppy. The feeling was only surpassed by how surprised Jennifer felt about her friend, was this really her version of perfection? A slave to bark orders to who would always agree and obey?

As Jennifer followed Emma she was able to glance at herself from the reflection in the mirror, Jennifer gasped, her hair was frizzy and wild, falling down into a red wave down her back in a poorly held together ponytail, her face spritzed with acne to complete the look. Her heart sank even further when they came to a stop in front of the classroom. Jennifer had completely forgotten they shared their first class together.
