Joey and Mary had gone off to the park to spend some quality time together. They walked hand in hand admiring the beauty of the park around them. They saw the park was filled with plenty of people that day. There were some who were reading a book, a few who were going by on bicycles, as well as a young couple playing with their toddler daughter. Mary put her free hand up to her cheek and giggled a little at seeing the little toddler taking her first steps with his parents.
"Oh Joey, honey, doesn't it just remind you of our time with our daughter when she took her first steps?" Mary asked sighing and remembering their time together at the park with a very young Amy.
"Heh, yes, I do. I remember her first steps, her first words, her first boyfriend, which ironically enough was only Jeff. I was so unsure of that boy when he took our girl on her first date." Joey said shaking his head.
"Oh Joey, you just were just worried for our baby girl and it was so very sweet of you. Jeff was a sweet boy back then and he's a sweet husband now as well as a father. Which reminds me, did Jamie say she has her eye on anyone at school yet?" Mary asked with a giggle.
"I think she might. I even told our little princess that it was the same place where our Amy met Jeff and....where I met the most beautiful girl in the world." Joey complimented as Mary leaned in to Joey and gave him a gentle kiss on the lips.
"I wish I could look young and beautiful like I did then, instead of old and wrinkly like I am now." Mary said shaking her head.
"You're always going to look young and beautiful to me." Joey said as the two of them held each other's hands and hugged while giving each other a soft kiss.
Everyone at the park was having a blissful day and Joey and Mary were having a blissful day with each other as well and it didn't matter to them if they were young or old. The two of them were very much in love.
