Ty set the trap down, and opened it. The mouse darted out and away, never to be seen again. "I hope she's OK," Lisa said.
Ty made the trap go away, and asked Lisa whether she'd like to stay and watch the sunrise. She agreed. "So I didn't bite you," she said.
"No, but if I'd held you the same way, you might have. That's what the change I made right after I transformed you into a tiny human was for."
"Oh," she said. "So what exactly did you do to me?"
Ty explained, "I made a permanent mental change, so that no matter what form you're transformed into, and no matter what form I'm transformed into, you will recognize me, and know that I love you and would never harm you. I wanted to make sure we never have a repeat of this latest problem. But I did it without checking with you first, so if you want me to undo it, now or at any future time, just let me know."
Lisa said, "That is a great idea! Thank you! I certainly don't want you to undo it."
They waited in silence until a few minutes after sunrise. "Ready to go back?" Ty asked.
"Yes," Lisa said, "but first I want to go back to my normal size."
Ty was surprised, but carefully lifted her from his shirt pocket, and set her on the ground. She quickly transformed herself back to normal size, then hugged him. As they kissed, Ty teleported them back to her bedroom.
