"Are you up for another movie?" asked Jeff. "Have you seen _Metropolis_?"
"I haven't," said Anya, "so let's watch it!" She selected it on the streaming service, and started it playing. She cuddled with Jeff, and he continued stroking Isis, though as the movie got interesting, he forgot about her.
At some point Anya reached over, and shoved Isis out of Jeff's lap. Isis arched her back and hissed, which startled Jeff, since Isis _was_ Anya. He looked at Anya, puzzled. "What the hell?" he asked.
"Just practicing cat behavior," Anya said with a smile. Isis, now sitting on the floor, looked up at Jeff and meowed, then stood, stretched, and wandered out of the room. "Sitting in your lap is nice, but I thought you might like this body to give you some attention." She started stroking his cock.
"That feels great, of course," said Jeff, "but if we're going to get serious about it, let's pause the movie."
"OK," said Anya. "But if we're going to do that, then I'm also going to take a break to set out food and water for Isis." She hit pause on the remote.
"Oh," said Jeff, "I'd forgotten that you'll need that. And a litter box. And some cat toys."
"Not all cats are interested in toys," Anya said. "Somehow, I get the feeling that Isis doesn't really need any."
"OK. Oh, geeze, you'll have to eat cat food. I'll bet that sucks!"
"Well, since my Isis body is an actual cat, maybe I'll like it. But if not, I suppose I can transform it into something more palatable, as long as my humanoid body is within emitter range."
"Do you want me to be in charge of feeding and litter box duty," he asked her. "Or do you want to take turns?"
"Oh, I don't mind doing it. And our parents think it is my job anyhow, as part of my 'training'. If no one is looking, I can use my Chronivac abilities to 'cheat' on the litter box."
They stood and walked into the kitchen. An empty food bowl and a full water bowl appeared on the floor. Anya opened a cabinet, moved some cans and boxes aside to make some room, and some cans of cat food appeared. She took one can out, closed the cabinet, and started opening it.
At the sound of the electric can opener, Isis ran into the room, brushed up against Jeff's ankles, meowed, and sat next to the food bowl. Jeff looked at Anya in surprise. "Just practicing my cat behavior," she explained, as she spooned the food into the bowl, and Isis started eating. "This actually doesn't taste half bad," she said.
Anya walked to the back door, and Jeff followed, as Isis continued eating. A litter box appeared, half-filled with cat litter, and a scoop and a bag of cat litter appeared next to the box. "All ready for my life as a cat," she said.
"You're taking this really well," Jeff commented. "Honestly, when I suggested that you turn your human body into a pet, I was a bit afraid that you'd be offended."
"Why on earth would I be offended?" Anya said. "House cats lead pampered lives. I think it will be nice, even if I'm the one doing much of my own pampering. Of course, Isis will still expect some petting from you."
"Well, that's all good then," Jeff said. "If you're done taking care of Isis for now, let's get back to your taking care of me. And vice versa."
They returned to the living room, and started fucking on the sofa, the paused movie ignored.
