Jennifer nodded, "Save my mind and my body, I can go a week with kiddy clothes."
Stinebeck nodded, pulling out a large needle. "Ok, but still, this is going to hurt....alot." The doctor said firm, but caring. "Ok, I need you to look up at the ceiling for me, Nurse, hold her steady now. Jennifer, you those those flu swabs? It'll just be like that, just a lot worse, I'm sorry."
Stinebeck moved swiftly as Jennifer tried to relax. As the needle slid up to her nostril, Jennifer squirmed, her face coiling at the needle as it felt it was scrapping her brain. Jennifer's mouth open as to scream as she felt it touch a nerve. "There it is." The doctor exclaimed, pushing the syringes contents into her. It felt like an eternity, but finally it was over, as the needle quickly retreated.
"Ok, that should stop you being contagious, as well as freeze up those lymph nodes from getting any worse. Now, I have a few things to give you, but I'll first call your mom and let the school know about your condition. It should only last for a week or so, but if anything changes you call me ok?" The doctor finishing the sentence as he looked up at the nurse.
Jennifer rubbed her nose, it was now especially sore. "Well, atleast I won't turn into a baby, I guess." Jennifer suddenly sneezed again. Pants changing to a simple monotone soft cloth pants, the style minimalistic with only a few designs around the pocket. Perfectly normal for a four and a half year old.
The nurse appeared with a phone in her hand, "I called your mom, she'll be here to pick you up shortly."
Jennifer nodded. "Thank y-achoo!" she replied, her shirt changing again, now a mascot for some baby show was displayed proudly on her chest, the shirts long sleeves ending with a wavy seam and flowers. "I think it's going to be a long day." Jennifer muttered, wiping her hand on her pants.
