"Where the hell is Skeesy?" Jordan called out when the got to his car. The man was nowhere to be seen. The car was locked.
The twins had been unaware that they had left Skeesy in the house. He hadn't followed them out the back door. Indeed he had been caught upstairs when the couple from the resort entered the house. He heard her call out "I will take care of packing some things while you look over the other rooms up here"
The woman took forever. Skeesy couldn't see what she was doing but he could hear her opening drawers and cupboards. He watched her feet moving about the room and sensed she was packing a bag. Minutes later she went to the door.But instead of leaving she just asked "I've packed some clothes. Are we going to head back to the other house or stay here?'

That dude was a big guy. Not someone Skeesy particularly wanted to take on. He tried to think of a reason to explain why he was hiding under the bed. If he was found they would call the police on him. No inspiration came to him. He was very annoyed. Even though the twin in the black dress had said on the journey that she owned this house, it was obvious to Skeesy that she didn't. He realised now that those twins were just a bunch of con-artists and he had been suckered by them. He had been tricked to be the driver so the girls could break into this house and steal that piece of jewellery they had been talking about. Some sort of medallion. It must be quite valuable. Now it appears the twins had fled and left him to face the music. He squirmed back further under the bed. He would just have to wait this out.
Skeesy lay there trying not to move as the couple moved back into the room. He watched the two pairs of legs as the couple embraced.
