A smile was still gracing Tom’s face as his eyes began to open, he could feel pressure on his chest and heard some light snoring from the sleeping figure. For a moment he was confused, then he remembered he had meet his ex-girlfriend Lisa at the bar at the mermaid virus transformation center. A couple drunken conversation later they had gone back to Lisa’s room and enjoyed what was possibly their last night as humans since both of them were infected with the mermaid virus.

The face clearly belonged to a woman, a pretty good-looking women on top of that. He could see some parts of his old male self in that face, like looking at a sister clearly related but still different. She had rather beautiful blue eyes like he had had as a man, her hair still brown was still cut the same a short almost buzz cut which looked odd on a woman but if she grew out the hair it would frame her face beautiful. Two rather good-looking breasts graced her chest, not too big not too small, she had a strong core like a runner which made sense since he had been a runner but with some weightlifting which showed on this new version of himself…herself.
“I am a women?” said Tom as he heard footsteps coming toward him…well her.
