Skeesy found a handbag easily enough. It was sitting on top of a dressing table. It was stuffed with all the usual things women kept in their handbags. Hearing water start running in the shower, he assumed he was safe for the moment. He tipped the handbags contents onto the messed up bed. One unusual find was a man’s wallet. Skeesy opened it and lifted out some notes stashing them into his pocket, before tossing it aside. His eyes went to a white plastic bag. He picked it up. There was something metal inside.
Eagerly he sneaked a glimpse of the contents. It looked just like a brass medallion, perhaps two inches in diameter. He lifted it out to get a better look. It had what looked like a picture of an angel on one side and some indecipherable writing on the reverse. There were no precious gems attached. It looked rather plain. Skeesy had second thoughts about whether this was the medallion the twins had been talking about.
“Hey! Who are you? Don’t take that!” Skeesy turned to see the woman who he had been hiding from, coming out the bathroom door. She was totally naked but she didn’t seem to care. She came right at Skeesy, breasts bouncing unrestrained.
Skeesy tried to bat her away but she persisted. She grasped for the necklace he still held in his hand, getting hold of it and pulling. Her urgency to reclaim it, indicated to Skeesy that this was the medallion that was apparently so valuable.
Skeesy wasn’t a big guy but he still had a lot more strength than this chick. He pushed her to the floor, pulling the medallion from her grasp. His hand tingled but he had won the tug of war. The woman began to scream.
Skeesy didn’t waste any time. He bolted. Down the stairs and out the front door sprinting down the driveway, then down the road to where his car was parked. The twins were nowhere to be seen, but Skeesy didn’t care. He could still hear the woman screaming somewhere behind him. As quickly as he could he opened the car, got in and drove off. He finally did notice the twins under a shady tree a little bit further down the road. They were waving at him, trying to get him to stop. He ignored them and drove past. He didn’t owe them anything. He had the medallion and no doubt the police would soon be looking for him. He needed to get as many miles between himself and that house before the police arrived.
.......
Jordan and Sam had set up camp, sitting on the suitcases under a shady street tree, a little bit further down the road. They were still being hassled by the three young men who had been trying to chat them up.
They heard a woman screaming, then looked up to see Skeesy racing to his car. However, before they could get his attention he was in the car and driving off. They were left waving at him by the roadside. He didn’t appear to notice the, or if he had he just ignored them.
“Fuck!” groaned Sam “There goes our lift!”
“Do you have a problem girls? Maybe we can help?” said one of the guys.
