While the lawyer decided what to do and if trusting the genie was wise - after all, the frat boys were living proof that with genies, wording was paramount, the genie decided to upgrade some of her own magic. Genies' magic is rather different than most mythological beings and genies do enjoy having a bit of foreign magic to help boost theirs. Their magical essence is quite of a different nature than other creatures of magick. To do certain spells, notably to trick other magical creatures, the genie needed their own version of magick, which by definition she did not possess. But the other magical creatures, the faes, never gave away some of their magick easily - or for cheap. Even if they replenished their powers in a short time, those annoying cheaps! And they weren't interested in genie magick, these fools! So as many genies had to do, she traded humans she had tricked with their own brain-dead wishes. For reasons she could not imagine, the faes just adored adopting mortals - the younger the better and more profitable - to raise as their children or pets. Thanks to Mark's idiotic wish, she now could go sell these former adult males for a bit of fae magick.
So the genie slipped into the maternity wards of the girls' hospitals. As sudden and rather unexplained pregnancies, all five girls wanted to get rid of their babies and had signed them up for adoption. The genie employed her magic so that all forgot about the births and pregnancies. Reality was altered again. As for the five newborns, already appalled at their new bodies, situations and their ordeal of being in a womb only to be expelled from it, could not even shout in utter terror as the culprit of their current predicament took them, put them in wicker baskets and take them to a strange place. A market, filled with strange and scary creatures, and one where a goblin happily paid the genie, assuring her that these fine babes would end up in good families - and make him quite rich, as they were beautiful human babies. The genie smiled at that. She had made sure that the boys would be reborn as the possessors of the best bodies that the genes of these girls and their last sexual partners could offer. They would reach higher prices that way. Without a backwards glance, she left the five babies be put on auction or simply sold. The Goblin Market would decide their fate and soon they'd adjust to their new role in life - willingly or not. They were not her concern anymore. She smiled at the magick in a bottle she now had and pondered if she could trick that lawyer to phrase wrongly his wish or wishes and bring a hefty price of his own in the Goblin Market...
