Jane figured it was a secret blessing in disguise, after all, there would be plenty of hijinks to get up to once she had the app again. She had a slew of friends that she had to quickly learn and adapt to, same with her homework and classes, but she had a ten year advantage on all of it. Maybe she could tease her friends or her brothers once she got the app again. Her mind filling with wacky scenarios with this new context of her life. What fifteen year old wouldn't want to mess with reality?
The next day came as the house was decorated for the sextuplet birthday party, it was hard to manage for Jack and Sophia but they managed excellently, a huge centerpiece cake with a group photo of all the birthday kids in the center iced onto it. Jane was half enjoying the party, far too preoccupied with wanting to get her new phone, nevertheless she played with her friends and watched the boys swoon over her, and as equally enjoyable, watching her brothers then proceed to beat up said boys for daring to try to court her.
Soon enough presents were rolled out as Jane took the first box, a feeling giddy as she pulled out a sleek smartphone. Perfect. She clasped it to her chest as she giggled with excitement. Her brothers each getting a turn with a box while she turned the phone on, eager to see what it could do.
