The Magic Shop

More babies than before

added 3 days ago AR Toddler Baby

A new idea crept into Sophia’s mind, and her eyes twinkled with mischief.

She highlighted the sentence and typed: "This daycare attends boys and girls." Then, she deleted "boys and" and replace in “only girls.”

With a tap, the sentence was confirmed. The room shifted, and Sophia’s eyes widened as she looked around. She hadn’t expected the change to be so drastic.

The little boys at the daycare, including the six adorable sextuplets, were no longer boys at all. They were now little girls. Jane, still happily playing with her dollhouse, suddenly found herself believing that she had always been a little girl, and her new “brothers” were her sisters now.

Sophia’s lips curled into a satisfied grin. She’d always found the girls easier to manage—less loud, less rambunctious—and now she had a daycare full of them.

Her fingers trembled slightly with excitement as a new sentence appeared.

"This daycare takes care of toddlers and young children."

She didn’t even hesitate this time.

She changed it to: "This daycare takes care of only babies."

The moment she pressed Enter, the room rippled like water disturbed by a breeze. All of the children — Jane included — began to shrink. Legs bent awkwardly, limbs softened, words turned into babbles.

Jane blinked, confused, as her world shifted again. She was smaller now. Heavier diaper, rounder cheeks, weaker limbs. She tried to stand but plopped back on her bottom with a surprised grunt. All around her, her “sisters” had become babies too, barely crawling and giggling on all fours.

She gurgled instinctively... then stopped.

No... I’m not supposed to be like this...! Her inner voice screamed, muffled beneath her babyish coos. Somewhere deep inside, her older mind struggled against the layers of rewired reality.

Soon, Jane saw Sophia return to the playroom, carrying the cell phone. "She must be the one who caused this," Jane thought. Sophia was clearly happy with the changes she made, but before she could do anything else, someone called her from outside the playroom asking for help.

Sophie sighed and placed her cell phone on the top of a bookcase. Jane knew this was the perfect opportunity to get her phone back, but it would be difficult considering where it was and her new condition. She had to come up with a good plan to get it back.
