[Illusionist], [Astromancer], and now a [Duelist] mage were in a meeting. "No, she isn't a fighter!" Avram shouted
the [Duelist] said "You saw what she could do with the spells she had against the adventurer"
LoveHeart sighed "I'll agree with Avram on this, the girl is a lot of things but put her against a unique foe and she'll die while analyzing what to do first." the [Duelist] stormed off leaving the two teachers of Zoe to be in this discussion by themselves. "Do you agree that Zoe and Solrss should break up?" LoveHeart asked
"No" Avram said steadfastly "I don't think I've seen any clearer indications that they are meant for one another to help propel them both forward."
"He's a dime a dozen mage with too many levels dedicated to mere Puzzles. He's might become what level 15 in his [Mage] class at this rate?"
Avram sighed "I think I owe him and Zoe both some more tutelage. You've been great for her fundamentals, but like your specialization you may be driving her off her core path." The old [Astromancer] left leaving LoveHeart alone as she dispelled her illusion as she contemplated in her chamber with her actual body.
"It's not about driving someone off a path, but making them see something you want them to see" LoveHeart thought.
Zoe was watching Solrss fight knowing he had to fight his own battles if he wanted to and with this last one he managed to get the other combatant maybe 3 levels above him to surrender. Solrss wasn't looking healthy exactly, but he was less battered. She held out a sports drink with a straw out for Solrss to sip from when Avram came over with students looking. "You two with me" Avram stated. Zoe was confused but after a second of Solrss picking himself up to follow Zoe decided to follow along. They entered a private room and said "We're doing a private study session, problem with that?"
Solrss muttered "I technically have a class I'm failing in soon but-"
Avram waved his hand "Fail then, if your struggling I find it's usually a sign of something. In this case it's probably not that important for your growth as a [Wizard]. Now I'm aware you two are [Lovers], and what I'm going to be doing could be considered personal. Feel free not to do it at all, feel free to do it individually but"
"We'll do it together" the two said in unison
Avram held out his hand to Solrss "We'll start with you" Solrss held out his clawed hand as Solrss chanted an incantation "[Fate shown through the stars]" and suddenly several motes of light started leaking out of the Draco's scales and moving to the ceiling not quite hitting it, but moving in patterns. The [Astromancer] was examining the stars with probably a skill or two and said "Your Fate... to fight and claw for those you love, to grow in fractured ways but piece them together like a jigsaw" Zoe tried seeing any of the meaning in the stars that Avram did like it's own puzzle, but quickly deduced with [skill] that she lacked knowledge, [class], and brain power to comprehend what Avram was. Avram himself could see Solrss try to put this hint in his mind... he had too many classes [Puzzler], [Wizard], [Magical Duelist], [Lover], and believe it or not [Singer], and he felt like he'd probably get more... and his fate was to somehow consolidate them all?
Avram then held his hand out to Zoe who accepted and the lights came out of her pores and Avram did the same thing he did with Solrss "Let's see... Unraveler of secrets, One who puts new locks on wisdom... harder to unlock but easier to find... and... rebirth..." Avram got a bit more hesitant as he looked with his [skills] further into the constellations.
[Fate untrue, this is a simulation, look no further, her true fate is for the next life] Avram just chuckled a bit at what the system was telling him. This wasn't important... it wasn't important. He could bounce it off his skull in a sleepless night later on, but right now these two came first. "So-" Avram uttered to help get unhelpful thoughts out of his head "With both of your heads out of the clouds would either of you be interested in learning some [Astromancy]?" there was a silence from the two who did give it a little thought but since [Astromancy] hadn't been a goal or desire for either "I suppose not, but I am an [ArchWizard] and being able to study with me should help you with the vast majority of fields you are studying... or maybe simply some advise. Some [Astromancers] are more about drawing power from the sky itself, but I'm a bit of a [Soothsayer] of sort. Need help with a tricky skill? I've got a lot of wisdom on my hands as well."
Zoe suggested "How about we go to my room, and do some fundamental training and maybe work on some secrets in the room. There's plenty I've been stumped on even if I've already found the Key out of it."
Avram nodded "From what I've seen of Solrss he's been getting the combat fundamentals down in a sense, but he requires other steps... Meanwhile you also need plenty of fundamentals, and I need to make sure LoveHeart is teaching you well." thus the two students would start their magic training arc.
