Bruce was a bit surprised when on the way to reception she was accosted by the twins. She cringed, they were bigger than her and had every right to be angry with her for stealing their identities. However they didn't seem particularly aggressive and when one of them asked "Well did you bring the medallion?" in a friendly voice she relaxed somewhat.
The question puzzled Bruce. Did they think she still had the medallion? "Hi.... I was looking for you"
"We were just finishing breakfast and saw you walking past"
Did they think she was bringing the medallion back to let them change back to their own bodies? She supposed that was the arrangement they had made when she had last seen the twins. Did this mean that they had not sent the thief to the house? If they didn't have the medallion than who did? She decided she needed to play friendly and find out what the girls knew "Umm....Can I ask who's who?"
The girl in a black skirt and floral top replied "I'm Jordan" then pointed at her sister who was looking very elegant in a brown trench dress "That's Sam"
Sam then said "I'm answering to Samantha at the moment. Probably best if we call you Marcia while we are in a public space"
Bruce was puzzled but she supposed it made sense to call her something different to 'Jordan' whilst in their company. The couldn't call her Bruce. "Okay... Marcia will do" She looked around hoping that Janet might have spotted them, but he was nowhere to be seen.
Jordan then said "Let's go back to our suite so we can talk freely"

Meanwhile Skeesy had returned to her unit and collected the medallion from her hiding spot. She still did not trust the twins 100% but what other choice did she have? She needed to get back to her male body. She collected some of her own male clothes, having an inkling of why the twin had told her to do so. A lot of the stories she had found online referred to an artefact that was called the 'Medallion of Zulo'. Those stories suggested that by touching clothing to the medallion you would change into the last person who had worn that clothing. The medallion in Skeesy's possession seemed similar but it had not changed her back despite her waiting the 12 hours the stories suggested. She just hoped that this medallion worked somewhat similarly and that the twins would know how. She had put the medallion in a clear zip-lock bag which she held in her free hand as she began the short walk back to the resort.
....
Janet had searched the pool area then had circled back via the car-park, seeing no sign of the twins. He wasn't sure whether he wanted Bruce to have had more success but had to admit he was very uneasy about the thought of the original Sam and Jordan possessing it. They needed to get it back even if it was then subsequently 'lost'.
Just then he spotted Bruce, or 'Jordan' as was now her legal name, walking down the street towards the entrance of the resort. He was surprised to see her there, thinking she was checking for the twins inside the building. He hurried over to her at a jog, enjoying the strength and athleticism of his new body.
He intercepted 'Jordan' just as she was walking past their parked car. However Janet wasn't looking at the car, instead she was smiling in delight having spotted the clear plastic bag "Jordan' was holding in her hand. It seemed she had retrieved the medallion!
"You found it!" he called in delight. He wrapped his arms around his wife and gave her a loving squeeze. Then said "Quick! Let's get out of here!"
.........
Skeesy hadn't paid any attention to the jogger running towards her as she neared the resort. Hence she was surprised when the man accosted her. She found herself grabbed and before she knew what was happening, bundled into a car. Only as the car drove off did she recognise the driver as the big guy from the house she had stolen the medallion from.
