A tingling wave spread through Dan's body, from his toes right up to the top of his head. As the wave passed his eyes, his vision seemed distorted. His skin also felt rather strange. He walked over to the mirror. What stared back at him was a fully-clothed, human-sized straw donkey piñata. Dan's paper-mache skin was a bright green, with purple details on his underbelly. He removed his clothes, and noticed a small paper tail attached to his backside, too. His face had extended into a purple muzzle, and his ears were now on top of his head- poking out of a novelty paper sombrero.
"A piñata?! Why?" Kat grinned at him and flashed her wand again. Dan now noticed a string attached to his middle-back area. "I'm not having a party..." Kat said, approaching him, "... so I think we should celebrate my birthday as a family." She picked Dan's vulnerable body up with ease, shaking him slightly to rumble his candy-insides. "And you'll be centre of attention!"
