It was day 2 & the velociraptor dinosaur Max was laying down next to Adam the human with his head on the human's lap. Adam was rubbing the top of the dino's head. This felt good to the velociraptor. He started to purr like a cat. Max was enjoying being just an animal. Adam & Max enjoyed it out here. This forest was perfect.
3 hours later...
Max was making velociraptor vocalizations when to their surprise they heard the vocalizations of compsognathus family as they approached. "Practicing like we are?" The father compsognathus asked. "No. Max & I decided he isn't to speak like a human does just make dino sounds & only act like the animal he is for the rest of the trip." Adam explained. "Well we are practicing being just dinos for our parts in Dinosaur Park 11." The father compsognathus explained. Both Adam & Max asked shocked "Dinosaur Park 11?!" one of the young compsognathus; the boy exclaimed excited "We going to all be in the next movie as ourselves." "Seriously?!" Adam yelled surprised. One of the girl compsognathus exclaimed excited "We will be all in movie." The father compsognathus told Max "They are still looking for some velociraptors. You could be one of them." "You can make that happen for me?!" Max yelled excited. The father compsognathus nodded "Yes. I know the director. We could call her now." Adam had never seen the velociraptor so excited. He was like a kid; a big scaly kid but a kid none the less. Adam got Max's cellphone from his pants back at the tent & the call was made.
The pterodactyl that was the director & one of the pterodactyls in the movie was told she had a call from the compsognathus father. She flew down & landed in front of the open laptop on the table. The pterodactyl folded her wings over her body & looked at the screen to see compsognathus looking at her. "I got someone here who wants to be in the movie." Then the compsognathus disappeared from view to reveal the velociraptor. "I so want to be in your movie miss pterodactyl miss." The velociraptor said clearly excited. "Well we do need some more velociraptors. Show me what you can do." The velociraptor moved away from the screen giving full view of himself & started walking around making vocalizations & acting completely like the animal he is. The pterodactyl very impressed told him he could be in the movie. Max was so excited. Max gave him his full name & was told when & where to go & all those details. Then the call ended. The pterodactyl walked away from the table & spread her wings & told everyone "Back to 4 & action!" The pterodactyl took flight with a screech.
Back the forest...
"You need to call your mom & tell what you are going to be doing next week." Adam informed / told Max. Max went "Oh right." Adam gave Max some privacy while he made the call to his mom. Max's mom doesn't know that Adam knows of Max's velociraptor self & dinosaurs exist & all that. After an hour Max came out & he said "After much talk and convincing I finally got mom to let me be in the movie as my velociraptor self." "Sweet." Adam said pleased by that.
7 days later...
Adam driving the car up to the site (having just turned 16 & got his driver's license). The compsognathus father thanked Adam again for giving them a ride to the site. "No problem. You couldn't really drive as you are right now." Adam said with a smile. "Glad you talked us into shifting first & coming this way. Now we can start immediately." They drove into the site & were stopped by a woman wearing only a blue bathrobe. The trunk door opened & quickly the compsognathus hopped out. The woman pleased said "Glad to see you again." The boy compsognathus said hopping up & down "We came as is." The woman quickly threw off her robe & transformed into the pterodactyl from before. "So..." She went to ask before Max got out nude & transformed into his velociraptor dinosaur self. "Me me." Max said excited. Someone wordless collected her robe. Adam got out too & the pterodactyl went to question "Just a human miss." The pterodactyl went "Ok." The compsognathus family headed off being told to relax because their scenes would be filmed later. Also Adam was told he could watch filming of the movie as long as he remained quiet & stayed out of the way. Of Adam agreed to all that. He was excited to watch filming of this; almost as excited as Max who was going to be in it. The pterodactyl walked Max & Adam over to where the crew was (mostly humans) & beyond that there was an old looking abandoned building with a lot of grass around it. "Now you been practicing being just an animal?" The pterodactyl asked wondering. "Yes miss." Max nodded. "Good. Now you go into that building. When I say action you be an animal. Don't acknowledge the camera or crew or anyone else but me. Just be an animal. No speaking in human. Just act like the animal you are intill I say cut." Max nodded in agreement. The pterodactyl yelled "Action!" and she took flight flying off. Soon the pterodactyl returned with two other pterodactyls & then the velociraptor came out of the building. And then the compsognathus ran in. Adam was in awe of how all the dinosaurs were acting in front of him. They were acting just animals; simple animals. They didn't even acknowledged she was there or any of the crew or anything. It was amazing. Max & all the dinosaurs were so good at just pretending to be simple animals. The velociraptor let out a low chirp.
