Animalia Ambassadoria: Prideful Propaganda

added by makutamon990 Yesterday O

"Hello everyone, and welcome to a special Pride Month episode of Animalia Ambassadoria." said Polly, as the latest episode began. "Today, we'll be looking at the truth behind several misconceptions about Animalia, some of which actually happened quite recently."

---

"The first few misconceptions is tied to LGBT+ and Animalians." said Polly, politely. "Despite what some might say, homosexuality has actually been an essential part of the 'furry fandom' for quite a while, long before Animalia came around. Also, despite what some paranoid politicians have pushed, the Animalia virus is actually not a cure for homosexuality. Those who do undergo conversion will eventually become attracted to the opposite sex while still maintaining their original attraction, so gays and lesbians won't end up 'losing a part of themselves', as some might call it."

---

"Another possible misconception actually started on the Animalia Website and was blown up by social media." said Polly, after a commercial break and a few clips of people and/or Animalians messing up doing summertime activities, "Despite what those who started the claim of 'Animalia's free love movement' might say, prostitution is a bit more legal in Animalia and its colonies, though it's more strictly regulated and recorded than some would have you believe." She then conducted an interview with both Clara and Miss Fabina about how Animalia's "prostitution system" is different from 'regular prostitution', including some questions from the viewers.

"So, what if someone wants to record their... intimacy?" asked Polly, reading one of the questions from one of the viewers.

"We've decided that, in order for that to happen, a consent form has to be signed, willingly, in advance by both parties, and an impartial witness." said Miss Fabina, matter-of-factly, "So, if one or the other says 'no', and the impartial witness can confirm this, then the video can't be recorded."

"What if someone wants to do a 'conversion orgy', like Animalia's infamous Seven-on-Four night?" asked Polly, reading another question from a different viewer.

"We've actually got special rooms planned for such a thing," confirmed Clara, much to everyone's surprise, "though only Lyre/Animalia has such rooms open right now, with the other colonies still working on them due to their unique locations and what has to be taken into account, so another Virus outbreak doesn't happen." At that, there was many expressions of understanding.

---

"Another misconception that stubbornly refuses to be debunked is the idea that that Animalians can be used as super-soldiers, disposable or otherwise." said Polly, after another commercial break, and some more summer mess-up clips. "Part of the reason why has actually come from the furry fandom in and of itself, with some furries having bulletproof flesh, bones, etc.; claws/teeth capable of cutting through metal walls, doors, etc.; or even doing superhero things like leaping skyscrapers in a single bound. This time we can do more than just show how things, from weapons, to armor, to vehicles, would have to be modified to accommodate Animalians, as well as the cost of such modifications." What then followed was a number of biomedical tests that would demonstrate the truth behind such myths. For example, in order to stop a bullet from an M4 Carbine, Animalian hide (skin/feathers/scales/fur), muscle, and bone would have to be harder than standard steel.

After a number of tests, the Russian soldier (now a brown bear Animalian) and diplomat that were 'turned away' now entered the room for their interview. Fortunately, the interview was kept reasonable and respectable, and the diplomat, who was serving as a translator for the soldier because he didn't speak much English yet, was able to reveal some things they had no idea about but were to be expected, after the fact. As it turned out, after his conversion, the soldier's enhanced senses were much more sensitive to things like blood, burnt gunpowder, and explosions.

"For our final misconception," said Polly, as the episode wound up after another commercial block and some more summer fails, "while most corporate sponsors and brands have been withdrawing their support of Pride Month, Horizon/Animalia hasn't yet stopped their own specials: reduced price conversions for both same-sex couples and hermaphrodite conversions. To help those who don't understand, there's a special section of the Animalia Website that discusses the physiology of hermaphroditic Animalians.

That's all for this episode. Stay tuned for the Quasi-Raccoon Cuties' coverage of the 2025 IAC events at Ao Guang Island, and Miles' special coverage of the IAC events at Renardville."
