The harem quarters were filled with the sounds of laughter and cheering as flasks were passed around from soldier to soldier. With the war not going well for the rebels, Antyny had decided to make a point of rewarding his troops who’d performed well in the string of battles over the last few weeks. Even Janessa, who was normally exempt as Antyny’s favorite, was expected to join in. Between the few dozen soldiers and all of her fellow concubines, the harem quarters were as crowded as she had ever seen them.
A soldier sitting on one of the beds pulled her onto his lap as Janessa tried to make her way past him towards a side chamber, and she giggled happily, squirming around to face him. He was a wonderful kisser, Janessa thought to herself excitedly. She’d always loved watching the soldiers train in the castle’s courtyards, practically swooning with excitement when one of the young men asked her to dance at the balls her father hosted.
That was where she had first met Gareth, she thought. If she closed her eyes she could imagine she was sitting on his lap instead, kissing him with the fervor she always had. Her father had never thought Gareth’s family prominent enough to be worthy of a match with the royal family itself, but ever since he’d become the head of her personal guard she’d fallen head over heels for him.
And what bravery! He’d fought so well to protect her, and then when the rebels had seized the castle he’d helped her hide as a common concubine, rather than allow her to be captured and held prisoner to strengthen Antyny’s claim to the throne. He’d even become “Greta” to continue to help her! It was soooo romantic, Janessa thought with a sigh, moaning as the soldier squeezed and caressed her breasts.
Perhaps, Janessa thought to herself with a suppressed giggle, once the rebels were defeated and they were married, in a beautiful ceremony—-oh, she couldn’t wait to pick out her dress—Gareth might even agree to become Greta again, from time to time. Janessa slid off the soldier’s lap, once of her fellow harem sisters quickly taking her place. She continued making her way through the room, eagerly accepting a drink of wine from a dark haired soldier with a bandaged arm. She wondered how Princess Lilia was doing. Her father had considered betrothing her to Lilia’s husband a few years ago, but had ultimately rejected the match. Janessa hoped her new friend was happy. She would have to explain the truth about her being a princess to Lilia soon. After all, she would be queen of Karagot soon.
Janessa noticed a soldier leading a giggling Greta into one of the private rooms as one of her dazed looking harem sisters stumbled her way out, a satisfied looking soldier guiding her back to the main room.
The celebration continued as Janessa found herself sinking to her knees and sucking another soldier’s cock. Faces seemed to flash by one after another; a few minutes—or perhaps an hour—later Janessa was riding another nameless soldier in one of the private chambers, gasping as he thrust into her over and over again.
Eventually the celebration came to an end, Janessa and two other concubines finding themselves draped over a tall, muscular man who Janessa was vaguely aware was a captain in Antyny’s forces in one of the beds. Janessa slowly drifted off to sleep, wondering how Anya and her other ladies in waiting were.
