Ty was going to ask June what she meant, when she suddenly collapsed to the floor. Ty hurriedly examined her. "Are you OK? he asked. It didn't appear that she'd hit her head or broken anything.
"OK?" June said, then, in a dreamy sort of way, "No, I'm wonderful."
"June!" Ty said. "Did you hurt yourself when you collapsed?"
"No, Ty, I'm fine," she said. "Just help me up. I'll go sit in the living room." Ty did as she asked, and got her to the sofa, where she sat down. "Oh, Ty, this is so incredible. And I just started my spin cycle. It's not as exciting as agitate was, but it's nice to experience the changes."
"Mom? What happened? Why did you collapse?"
"Oh, it's no big deal," June said. "It was all just suddenly a bit more than I'd expected."
"What, the change in washer cycles?"
"No, Ty," June said, smiling. "Go look in the laundry room."
Ty went and looked. The washing machine was missing, of course, since she now _was_ the washing machine. But to Ty's surprise, the dryer was missing, too!
